Great place to go with friends so there’s something for everyone. Lots of options - tacos - sandwiches - dumplings - salads - smoothies. Like this style of eating options - however - don’t like ordering from an ipad - only to be texted my food is ready - but having an app ask for bad 15% tip?! Pricing is ok for downtown area ( some spots are pricier than others ) BUT TIP ? To who for what ? Tip myself for ordering well and walking it quickly back to my table ?? Sorry rant over. My chicken Tinga bowl was great and the Birria tacos were too! I will go back again when I’m the area! Keep my tip in my pocket for a job well done!

I had the pleasure of touring Faregrounds Austin with Macy today. What an incredible and versatile space to host events and activations downtown. With the amazing food selections and fun ways to configure the indoor space which includes a conference center for 75 people. Then to top it off you have the outdoor amphitheater style space which can hold 600. The intimate Ellis bar space and patio send you into another city. Thanks Macy for showing me around and I cannot wait to partner with Fareground Austin on future events!

This place is really cool. It was such a nice day to sit outside and eat. My partner got a free cocktail for her birthday. We both enjoyed our meals, however I do not like the gyoza w/ the beef filling. The pork gyoza was yummy. My partner enjoyed her birria tacos and said they were top notch. I’d definitely come here again. Also, parking nearby wasn’t badly priced. 6 a hour. Due to visiting from out of town, I appreciated this. And Lake Austin is within walking distance.

Overall neat little spot with a good variety of selections for food and drink. In the bottom floor of the high rise building with multiple places to eat including tacos, sushi, Venezuelan, bowls, shwarma and a couple of bars as well as coffee. There's a nice little outdoor area that's nicely shaded as well. The food was great the atmosphere is nice as well.

Fareground Austin is technically a food court, but it doesn’t quite fit the traditional definition. The indoor area is fairly simple, featuring a mix of small, independent eateries and a large, constantly busy bar. The setup feels a bit scattered—there’s no real connection between the different vendors, and the layout lacks the cohesive energy you might expect from a food hall. If you walk deeper inside, you’ll find more restaurant options, but overall, the real attraction isn’t what’s inside—it’s what happens outside. One of the biggest advantages here is that none of the food stalls are part of large chains. Everything is local, independent, and offers something unique, which makes it worth exploring if you’re looking for something beyond typical fast-casual options. The variety is solid—there’s French cuisine, shawarma, tacos, Venezuelan food, and more. Whether you’re in the mood for a quick bite or a sit-down meal, you can usually find something interesting. The real highlight of Fareground isn’t indoors, but outside. On select weekends, the courtyard transforms into a lively open-air gathering space with DJs, live music, and a street food festival atmosphere. Some of the indoor restaurants bring their food stands outside, and additional street food vendors set up booths, offering an even wider selection of food, cocktails, and snacks. The entire space comes alive with a fun, social vibe, making it one of the more dynamic food spots in Austin. If you’re looking for a unique place to eat and drink in a relaxed setting, Fareground delivers. The indoor space might not be the most impressive, but the outdoor events and diverse food options make it a great weekend destination.

Perfect little spot to stop by if you’re ever in the downtown Austin area! Sort of a cafeteria style vibe - they have quite a few food options that you can choose from. From Venezuelan to Rotisserie chicken! I wasn’t able to try their food options today, but I’ve heard great things. Their service today was wonderful! The bartender was very helpful and friendly!

If you’re looking for a variety of fresh food in downtown Austin, go to Fareground Austin! All of the food options are quality, fresh, diverse, delicious and priced right. Plenty of space for seating with small groups of friends and they have an outside lawn with more seating. The service is great and consistent throughout all the food booths and bars. They also have live music on the weekends with great local bands. Cleanliness throughout the whole space.
